ACTIVITIES REPORT
Partners' Institution:
ISIS Leonardo da Vinci
Project's period (from/to):
20 January 2010 - 31 October 2011
WPs concerned:
WP 1 - Identification of target groups

Objectives of activities carried out:
From 20/01/2010 to 30/04/2010
ISIS "Leonardo da Vinci", Italy, is the Project Promoter.
We have involved 8 schools and 26 teachers. We have collected 8 school letters of intent and 26 school presentation forms.
We looked for the other 4 teachers to fulfill the aim of WP1.

Description of activities carried out:
Identification of target groups, recruiting schools and teachers
Teachers have been involved by means of:
informative/face to face meetings,
seminars,
telephone calls,
letters of enquiry,
visits to schools

Teachers have been shown the contents, aims, expected results of the project, the innovative aspect of e-learning and the opportunity to develop/improve IT skills.
We provided the schools interested with the forms developed by PIXEL.
Some forms have been translated into Italian

WP1.1 School Presentation Form
WP1.2 School Participation Letter
WP1.3 Training Inst Letter
WP1.4 Training Inst Participation Letter
WP1.5 Role of the schools and Traing Inst
WP1.6 LeTS Portal Presentation

We have insisted on the practical side of the project, in particular the creation of an online course.
During the period from May 2010 to September 2010 just one teacher has joined the project.

Outcomes:
The trainer of the course has personally contacted the participant teachers, has created a blog before the forum and the webside in order to involve as many teachers as possible.
Immediately after the kick off meeting held on 21,22 and 23 January, ISIS sent letters to all the schools of the territory inviting people to participate the LeTS GO project.
We received more than 50 letters stating the interest of being involved in the project.
We have received 26 School participation forms.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
All the strategies adopted to carry on the objectives of WP1 have been proved to be successful.
WE have encountered some difficulties to find the participants mainly because the teachers have to cope with the duties, activities and deadlines of the end of the school year.
We have not received the school letter of intent from the "La Pira school"despite contacts, telephone calls, emails.
The number of teachers involved to the project increases until 27.
