Objectives of activities carried out:

1.1 Introduction
Connectis, carries out the role of technical partner in the framework of the LETS GO project. The tasks carried out by Connectis during the various phases of the project during the first year can be sub-divided in the following way, as technical partner all our activities are concerning the Work Package 2 (development of the project portal and website):

2.2 WP2 – Creation and management of the project website (October 2009 – October 2011)
Development of the project website at the following address: http://letsgo.pixel-online.org

This site is destined for the project partners and therefore the aim is to offer a valid work tool to be used throughout the project period.

There are 2 areas on the website, a public area and a reserved area.
• Public area
o In the public area the general information about the project and the partners is supplied
o In the Meeting section there is the possibility to see photos and read a brief description about each meeting that has taken place
o There’s also a section for the pictures taken during the work of the meeting and during the time after them
o There is also a Dissemination section which offers the possibility to visualise the various dissemination events carried out by each partner.
o There is an Exploitation section which offers the possibility to visualise the various events and exploitation events carried out by each partner.

• Reserved Area
o In the reserved area the minutes of the meetings can be viewed
• Administration Area
o It is possible to modify the contents of the pages
o It is possible to update the Meetings section
o It is possible to update the dissemination section
o It is possible to update the Working Progress section

2.3 WP2 – Creation of the database and Project Portal (October 2009 – October 2011)
2.3.1 Definition of the structure of the LETS GO portal

The LETS GO portal has been developed and is visible at the following (url) address:

http://www.leonardo-lets.net/

This portal constitutes the platform used for the promotion of the project, the consultation of the database of Experiences about Language Teaching trough the European countries. The aim of the project is to provide to the teachers and students in secondary schools with an overview of European experiences about resources online and offline about the language teaching in Europe. On this portal you can find The LETS GO project: The aim of this portal is to
- promote the application of new technologies to language teaching and learning
- allow the sharing and exchange of elearning materials for the teaching of European languages.

2.4 Activity 4 - Development of the Database of publications in every country
Creation of the database for the publications about E-Learning Experiences.
From this section it is possible to access to a review of publications, on the topics related to the aim of the project. The reviews of the selected publications are organized in a searchable database of documents.
So our duty in this section is to create the database and the search engine for this documents uploaded by the partners and by the teachers
We create a database on the LETS GO portal. Each product is characterised by a descriptive form.
