A profile on Facebook was created to contact teachers far from an academic situation, promote teachers’ interest even though they work in other disciplines, inform a larger audience (possibly students) of new possibilities in learning languages. Participants in the project, or people introduced by a participant, have been accepted as friends. Rules have been given to avoid personal posts not related to the project. FB has also represented an alternative channel of practical communication.
